Fiscal revenues to Moldova's national public budget up by 16 per cent in first five months of 2017

Chisinau, 5 June /MOLDPRES/ - The revenues collected by the State Tax Service (SFS) in the national public budget increased by 16 per cent in the first five months of 2017, against the same period of the last year, according to a SFS’ press release.
Data put out by SFS shows revenues worth 12 billion 334.9 million lei were collected this year, up by 1.7 billion lei against the same period of 2016. The Tax Service also said that the task set had been exceeded by 504.5 million lei or 4.3 per cent.
As much as 5 billion 518.4 million lei was collected in the state budget in the first five months. Collections amounting to 1 billion 224.6 million lei were recorded in the local budgets, by 11.4 per cent less against the same period of the year before. The collections to the state social insurances budgets grew by 16.5 per cent and the ones to the mandatory health insurances accounts increased by 10.7 per cent.
