Moldovan deputy premier to visit Sweden

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur will pay a working visit to the Kingdom of Sweden on 7-8 June, at the invitation of Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström. The visit is occasioned by the centennial anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Kingdom of Sweden, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
The Moldovan official will have meetings with Speaker of Sweden Urban Ahlin and State Secretary to Minister for Justice and Migration Lars Westbratt.
The officials are going to approach topical issues on the agenda of the Moldovan-Swedish bilateral relations, opportunities to deepen the political dialogue, ways to support the Eastern Partnership and the level of implementation of reforms in Moldova.
Also, Galbur will hold talks with the Swedish International Cooperation and Development Agency on the assistance provided by Sweden in political association and economic integration of Moldova with the EU.
Note: Diplomatic relations between Moldova and the Kingdom of Sweden were set on 12 June 1992.
