Moldovan top court validates two MP mandates

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/- The Constitutional Court today validated the mandates of MPs from the Party of Socialists Oleg Cuciuc and Sergiu Groza.
The two MP seats were vacant on 25 May 2017, following the resignation of Socialists Andrei Neguţa and Victor Sorocean.
Magistrates found that Oleg Cuciuc and Sergiu Groza submitted to the Central Electoral Commission statements accepting the mandate of MP, and at the court’s plenary session no pending circumstances were set.
The Constitutional Court’s decision is final and cannot be subject to any appeal. It enters into force upon adoption and is published in the Official Journal of Moldova.
