Moldovan official journal roundup for 9 June

Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/- The framework regulation on providing support to the host country in exceptional situations will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 9 June. The document was set up on the basis of the obligations assumed by Moldova by signing the Association Agreement with EU.

The regulation sets the actions of the subdivisions of the Interior Ministry, as well as other state institutions that will be involved in solving the problems faced by the international intervention teams within the EU member states involved in liquidation of the consequences of the emergencies. It also stipulates the field of the host country concept, border crossing by special intervention teams and Moldova’s actions in case of transit through its territory.

Also, the document sees the model forms for requesting and providing international assistance, territory transit, as well as the functional obligations of the host country support team.

Under the regulation, the team will include representatives of the MAI, DSE, Health Ministry, Labor, Social Protection and Family Ministry, Defence Ministry, Foreign and European Integration Ministry, Agriculture and Food Ministry, Transport and Road Infrastructure Ministry, Customs Service, Material Reserve Agency and Civil Aviation Authority.
