Moldovan deputy premier receives Polish ambassador

Chisinau, 08 June /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan received the Ambassador of Poland to Moldova, Artur Michalski, today. The officials reviewed recent developments in the Transnistrian settlement process, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.
It also mentioned Poland’s support to Moldova in democratization process, socio-economic development and proximity to the European Union, as well as promoting confidence-building measures between both banks of the Dniester.
Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan thanked the Polish diplomat for his dedicated and efficient manner which he served the mandate of the Polish Ambassador to Moldova.
At his part, Artur Michalski thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for dialogue and expressed his confidence that the traditional Moldovan-Polish relations would continue to develop for the benefit of Moldovan and Polish peoples.
