Young physicians working in Moldovan rural settlements to receive higher one-off allowances

Chisinau, 09 June /MOLDPRES/ – The young doctors and pharmacists activating in rural settlements will receive a one-off allowance from the state in the amount of up to 45 thousand lei. A draft law in this regard was passed in a final reading with the vote of 84 deputies today.
According to the amendments made by the legislators in Article 11 of the Health Protection Law of 28 March 1995, the unique allowance for physicians and pharmacists will increase from 30,000 to 45,000 lei, and for the medical and pharmaceutical personnel the average will increase from 24,000 lei to 36 thousand lei.
According to the document, financial support will be allocated in three installments. The first one will be paid after the first month of work, and the following ones – by the end of each year of activity.
The legislative changes are aimed at increasing the attractiveness of jobs in rural areas.
