Government approves agreement on setting up Moldovan-Georgian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation

Chisinau, 12 June /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet today approved an agreement between the Moldovan and Georgian governments on creation of joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation. The agreement was signed on 28 April 2017 in Tbilisi, at the first meeting of the commission.
The document has been signed for an indefinite period and will come into force on the date of receipt through diplomatic ways of the last written notification on completion of internal procedures of each state. The authorities expect that the creation of the commission should boost bilateral economic relations between Moldova and Georgia and set new priority areas for cooperation.
So far, 29 joint intergovernmental commissions on economic, scientific and technical collaboration have been created.
