Participants in "JCET" applications perform parachute jumps at Marculesti Air Base

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/- Special purpose military troops of the National Army and Romanian Army today performed parachute jumps at Air Base “Decebal” in Marculesti. The exercise was conducted in the applications “JCET 2017” (Joint Combined Exchange Training), which takes place in Moldova on 5-30 June, with the participation of special troops from Moldova, Romania and the USA.
According to Lieutenant Colonel, commander of the Special Forces Battalion “Fulger” Veaceslav Balan, over 60 soldiers took part in the air exercise, who parachuted from a height of 400 meters.
The “JCET 2017” applications are aimed at joint training and exchanging experience between the troops of the special forces of the three armies with the execution of specific and advanced shooting sessions, field training exercises and parachutes.
The National Army has been participating in “Joint Combined Exchange Training” since 2009.
