About MDL 16 billion collected to Moldovan state budget in 2017

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ – State budget revenues in the first four months of 2017 have amounted to 16 billion lei, which is 16 per cent more than similar period of 2016, leading to increase in budget expenditures. The announcement was made today by Deputy Prime Minister Octavian Calmic, Minister of Economy, during a press conference.
According to the official, the first four months of 2017 registered a 26 per cent increase in exports compared to the same period 2016. "The average monthly salary of the national economy in the first four months of this year increased, being 5219 lei. This represents 11.3 per cent more than in the same period of the previous year or more than 6.7 per cent in real terms. An increase was registered also in monthly average pensions, constituting 1355 lei, by 16 per cent more," said Calmic.
Also, the Minister of Economy stated to be a significant improvement in investments in Moldova. "We are convinced that through the actions of the Government and with the support of our Moldovan Democratic Party colleagues, we will be able to implement all economic, social, and business-oriented policies," said Octavian Calmic.
The Economy Ministry suggests an economic growth of 4.5 per cent for 2017.
