Moldovan deputy premier to visit Norway

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur will pay a working visit to Norway on 16 June, following an invitation of Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Børge Brende, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.

The visit takes place in the context of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Kingdom of Norway.

The Moldovan official will have meetings with his Norwegian counterpart, Børge Brende, as well as with EU Affairs Minister Frank Bakke-Jensen.

Galbur will also hold a lecture at the Norwegian Institute for International Affairs and will approach Moldova’s foreign policy goals.

Diplomatic relations between Moldova and Norway were set on 3 June 1992.
