Ritlabs company earns Golden Mercury award at Trademark of the Year - 2016 contest in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Ritlabs company has earned the Golden Mercury award at the Trademark of the Year contest in the Export category at the most important event of the native business – Moldovan Business Gala, held on 16 June 2017.

The contest is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the State Agency for Intellectual Property of Moldova and is aimed at promoting successful practices in the field of marketing and branding on the Moldovan market. The competition is a testing of the competitiveness of Moldovan goods and services, carried out based on evaluation of the trademarks by a professional jury and by consumers from Moldova.

Ritlabs is the company which produces The Bat! – mail software well-known abroad. The Ltd company Ritlabs is the only firm in Moldova which creates integral computer software – from the beginning till the end and sells it all over the world under its own trademark and The Bat! is the only brand in the IT sector in Moldova widely known abroad: especially in Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine. In 2016, Ritlabs exported its goods to users from 98 countries of the world.

The medals of the Export trademark are awarded for the most efficient strategy, which brought considerable results when entering new markets. Trademarks of Moldovan companies which produce goods and provide services, registered abroad, which conquer external markets and create a good image for Moldova, participated in this category of the contest.

The Moldovan software The Bat! appeared on the world market in 1998 and is presently the main email software. Among the software’s users, there are home computer owners, state organizations, such as banks and financial institutions, enterprises from the air-cosmic, oil and gas industries, companies in the field of providing with software and apparatus, a wide range of firms from the small- and medium-sized business from 191 countries.

Ritlabs has earlier been awarded at this contest.
