Digital signature to optimize Moldovan State Chancellery's work

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - The State Chancellery, starting from 1 July 2017, will use the digital signature to sign documents in electronic format, thus replacing the holographic signature on paper. This will help the institution efficiently implement the initiative, Government without Paper, and the system of management of electronic documents, e-Management, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The electronic signature has the same legal effect and ensures more security in terms of the holder’s identity, authenticity and integrity of the document. Also, the digital signature represents an indispensable element of a modern company, which optimizes the activity, reduces the costs related to the holographic signing of legal acts.
In this respect, the State Chancellery and the state enterprise, Special Telecommunications Centre, started a process of cooperation in the field of certification of public keys and related services.
