Joint public procurement vocabulary to be published in Moldova's Official Journal

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ - A regulation on the Public Procurement Vocabulary will be published in the 23 June issue of the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) of Moldova.  

Under the document, the vocabulary represents a single system of classification applicable to public procurement, in order to unify the references used by the contracting authorities to describe the object of the acquisition.    

The document’s goal is enhance the quality of announcements and shorten the time needed to publish them, including the possibility to carry out quality statistics, based on a single classification system and widely spread in the European Union.

At the same time, the Public Procurement Vocabulary gives possibility to use it as single Classified List of assets, works and services within the Automated Information System, State Register of Public Procurement. This considerably facilitates the work of both the contracting authorities and economic operators when initiating and carrying out public procurement procedures.
