Programme on road fund allocation for 2017 to be published in Official Journal of Moldova

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/- The programme on road fund allocation for national roads for 2017 will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 23 June.

Under the document, 1079724 thousand lei will be allocated from the road fund in 2017. Of this amount, 350327 thousand lei will be spent to repair motor arteries and engineering constructions, and 477760 thousand lei will be allocated for the repair, maintenance and administration of the roads.

According to data in the document, this year several works will be financed on the Tiraspol-Căuşeni-Cimişlia national road. The work will be continued on three ongoing objectives: road sections will be repaired at km 71,5-81,2, km 82,4-84,3 and km 85,5-93,3. Money is also provided for consolidation of the slope damaged by landslides at km 90 of the same route.

Also, money will be earmarked from the road fund for opening of 10 new objectives, including the construction of the Codrul Nou-Soroca-Unguri road, arrangement of a car parking adjacent to the electrical wiring plant in Balti etc.

Purchases required to implement the programme will be made according to law.
