Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ – The simple motion against the foreign policy, developed and promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, was denied by the Parliament members, today.
The motion was not discussed in the Parliament because the MPs of Democrats (PD), Liberals (PL), European People’s Party (PPE) and Liberal Democrats (PLDM) factions left the meeting room. The document was declared rejected by lack of quorum.
“There were precedents, so that is why I propose to our colleagues not to discuss the motion and to leave the meeting room,” said MP Marian Lupu.
The simple motion on foreign policy carried out and promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration was initiated by the socialist MPs after Moldovan authorities declared as persona non-grata five Russian diplomats.
