Moldovan PM conveys congratulatory message on Civil Servant's Day

Chisinau, 23 June /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today conveyed a congratulatory message on Civil Servant’s Day, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The message reads:

“Dear civil servants,

In this day dedicated to Civil Servant’s Day, I want firstly to express my gratitude and respect to the civil servants, who do their work with honesty, dedication and devotion to the country and citizens.

Dear colleagues,

We all know that the work in the public service is not easy. It is your responsibility to implement state policy. Motivating and improving the remuneration system of civil servants is a current topic in the government’s agenda. We have already taken the first steps and worked out a new concept of the public sector wage system. Personally, I want to create all the conditions in the public service to keep efficient civil servants in public administration and this is possible.

Civil servants are the ones who directly interact with citizens, so that you fulfill your duties with professionalism which contributes to increasing the trust of citizens in the government. Today, more than ever, during an ample public administration reform, we need your professional involvement and support, without which we will not be able to achieve our goals. So, I say with confidence that through joint efforts, we will create a modern and professional public administration, focused on providing quality public services, in accordance with needs and expectations of the citizens. I urge everyone to follow this goal and do everything in our power to make things better here at home with your children and your fellows.

I also urge young graduates with valuable knowledge and capacities to join the work of public authorities, to be part of the body of civil servants who will make Moldova a prosperous state based on the European principles of administration.
