Moldovan MPs make amendments to law on cadastre of real estate

Chisinau, 23 June /MOLDPRES/ - Wrong information included in the cadastre of real estate will be corrected at the expense of the state. The parliament adopted a draft law to this end in the final reading today.

The amendments made by the lawmakers are aimed at optimizing and boosting the process of correcting mistakes and removing non-conformities in terms of the records in the cadastre of real estate, errors committed both at the primary registration of assets and at the subsequent modifications. The draft sees also the cutting of costs of the documents needed for registration.

The draft law comes with a classification of the most frequent errors committed within the privatization and which will be rectified at the expense of the state: errors of geodesic measures, in designing, in identifying the real estate, when transposing the project on territorial organization and errors in processing of titles of authentication of the landowner’s right and compilation of materials for registration.    

Also, the act establishes that, on the next period, the enterprises carrying out cadastral works will be in charge of the accumulation, record, preservation and delivery of technical reports in the original of the cadastral works carried out. When the enterprise is dissolved, the archive of technical reports will be offered to the Archive Fond of Moldova, according to the law.   

Government’s data shows that there is no statistics of the errors admitted at the registration of assets within the real estate; yet, the latest estimations show that, in 2008-2011, more than 100,000 errors were corrected.
