Moldovans willing to travel to Qatar to be able to get tourist visa at border

Chisinau, 23 June /MOLDPRES/ - The citizens of Moldova willing to travel to the State of Qatar will be able to receive the tourist visa at border, for a stay period of up to 30 days.

According to a press release of the Embassy of Qatar in Chisinau, to get the visa, the travelers will have to meet the following requirements: the passport’s validity must be at least six months; they should have a round trip plane ticket, they must have a hotel booking and have a sum equivalent to at least 1,500 dollars or have a banking card.

At the same time, the persons will have to pay a tax worth 100 Qatari riyals, equivalent to 28 dollars.

The provision entered into force starting from 21 June 2017.
