Director of National public television Moldova 1 resigns

Chisinau, 26 June /MOLDPRES/ – The director of public television Moldova 1, Mircea Surdu, announced that he was resigning from office today.

In a message placed on a social network, Mircea Surdu said that “he has come to an end of things he has committed to accomplish.”

“All this time, I did the work of a director as I knew better from my professional experience and common sense. After these almost five years I will continue to do what I started and gave me immense satisfaction: documentary films. My film of director at TV Moldova 1 is over, it follows the titles, that is all the procedures related to the resignation. And I restart the documentaries,” says the message.

Mircea Surdu was elected director of public television station Moldova 1 on 14 December 2012. He is a journalist, producer and moderator of “Buna Seara” (Good Evening) show at Moldova 1.
