The prosecutors finalized and disputed the criminal case of accusing Valeriu Didencu last week. He is accused that in February – May 2017 he would repeatedly demand money and goods from representatives of some economic agents and some municipal councilors for various services. The money was claimed and accepted for inclusion on the Council’s agenda of projects concerning the extension of the lease term for different lands, modification of the boundaries of some lots, preparation of document sets for land purchase or sale and approval of the urban plans of certain objects.

If found guilty, Valeriu Didencu will face imprisonment from three to seven years with a fine of up to MDL300 thousand and the deprivation of the right to hold certain public positions or to exercise a certain activity for a period of 5-10 years.
