Moldovan foreign minister has farewell meeting with Norwegian ambassador

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today received Bucharest-based Norwegian Ambassador to Moldova Tove Bruvik Westberg, on the occasion of the end of her diplomatic mission, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

At the meeting, the Moldovan diplomacy head thanked Ambassador Westberg for contribution to developing the Moldovan-Norwegian relations during her mandate.

Minister Andrei Galbur highly appreciated the assistance provided by the government of Norway to carry out Moldova’s agenda of reforms, reiterating interest in strengthening the Moldovan-Norwegian cooperation in more sectors.
Ambassador Westberg expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Moldovan authorities to fulfill her mandate. At the same time, she voiced hope that the political dialogue and the trade and economic exchanges between the two states would continue boosting.
