Moldovan deputy PM meets with Georgian state minister

Chisinau, 28 June /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan met with Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, state minister for reconciliation and civil equality in Georgia today. The high official was accompanied by the Ambassador of Georgia to Moldova, Merab Antadze, the office for reintegration policies’ press service has reported.
The interlocutors addressed several topics on the bilateral agenda, including the international cooperation between Moldova and Georgia, the DCFTA implementation aspects in Moldova, including the Transnistrian region. On that, it was mentioned the importance of exchanging experience in the European integration process of Moldova and Georgia, especially, in overcoming the post-conflict problems they face.
The Deputy Prime Minister informed the Georgian Minister about the situation in the Transnistrian conflict settlement process and the role of foreign partners in the implementation of post-conflict reconstruction and regional development programs.
At the end of the meeting, the officials expressed their openness and mutual interest in strengthening cooperation between Moldova and Georgia.
