Total number of controls planned decreasing in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 14,771 controls were made in the first quarter of 2017, of which 7,967 planned controls, down by 12 per cent against the same period of the year before and by about 40 per cent less than in 2014.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, these tendencies show a more qualitative planning of inspections on behalf of control institutions and progress in applying methodologies of planning controls based on the analyzing the risk criteria.
The analysis of the data according to each control body shows that most controls in the first quarter were carried out by the National Agency for Food Safety, State Public Health Supervision Service, Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service, National Social Insurances House and State Labour Inspectorate.
At the same time, this period was marked by an increase in the percentage of registration of data in the information system, State Register of Controls, from 17 per cent in 2015, 28 per cent in 2016 to 47 per cent in 2017.
