Team building organized in Chisinau for officials in charge of Transnistrian issues

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ – The Reintegration Policy Bureau, together with the EU Delegation in Moldova, organized a workshop for members of the sectorial working groups for transport, education, economy, organized crime and ecology.

According to the office for reintegration policies’ press service, present at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan made a general presentation of the current situation in the Transnistrian issue, urged the members of the working groups to permanently perfect their knowledge, to become fully involved in identifying and solving the existing problems within the segment of Transnistrian settlement.

The workshop was also attended by the Head of the European Union Delegation in Moldova, Pirkka Tapiola, as well as other EU experts in Moldova. They shared their experience and offered recommendations to overcome difficulties encountered by the Moldovan experts in the process of negotiation, confirmed the EU’s decision to actively engage in the Transnistrian settlement process and to help both sides advance to the reintegration of Moldova.
