Moldovan deputy minister meets with Ukrainian ambassador

Chisinau, 03 July /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan had a meeting with Ukrainian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Moldova Ivan Gnatishin today, the office for reintegration policy’s information and media communication service has reported.

The interlocutors exchanged views on issues related to Transnistrian settlement, developments in the negotiation process and the prospects for advancement in solving current problems, such as: ensuring the circulation of transport vehicles with plates of the Transnistrian region, the establishment of joint control at the Moldovan-Ukrainian state border on its central (Transnistrian) segment and other relevant topics.

At the end of the meeting, the officials reiterated their willingness to maintain mutual beneficial cooperation and to contribute by joint efforts to solve issues of common concern.
