Revenues to Moldovan public budget increase by 17 per cent in first half of 2017 compared to 2016

Chisinau, 04 July /MOLDPRES/ – The State Fiscal Service (SFS) accrued in the first semester of 2017 revenues to the national public budget in the amount of over 15.55 billion lei, by 17 per cent more than in the same period of 2016.

According to the SFS’s press service release, revenues increased in nominal value by 2.25 billion lei. The figure for this period was exceeded by 721.5 million lei.

The Fiscal Service data reveal that for the state budget, during the six months, 6,93 billion lei were collected, by 1,25 billion lei more than in the same period of 2016. The local budget revenues amounted to 1.66 billion lei, 38.2 million lei more than in 2016.

The State Social Insurance Budget collected 5.30 billion lei, 780 million lei higher than the level recorded in the same period of 2016, and 1.64 billion lei were accumulated in the compulsory health insurance funds, by 171.8 million lei more compared to six months of 2016.
