Moldovan company director detained by prosecutors

Chisinau, 04 July /MOLDPRES/ – Director of ADR Nord, Ion Bodrug, was detained by officers of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes (PCCOCS) today. The information was confirmed for the agency by the PCCOCS’s specialist, Cristina Popovici.
The head of ADR Nord is suspected of having acted in collusion with "East Auto Lada" firm accepting fake documents about the technical parameters of two trucks that were to be imported from Turkey.
Also, PCCOCS and Security and Intelligence Service officers arrived at "East Auto Lada" firm today, in a file aimed at scrapping the tender for procurement of waste collection vehicles. "The amount of the auction that was tricked is two million lei. The vehicles were intended for Floresti City Hall," said Popovici.
The searches are still under way, and then PCCOCS will provide details.
