Chisinau, 04 July /MOLDPRES/ – Chisinau City Hall will allocate financial resources to Tintereni village, Anenii Noi district, to restore the polygony near the locality and to compensate for the discomfort caused by waste storage, according to a draft decision approved by the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) today.
The document also provides for the allocation of money for dyke reinforcement works to make the polygon still exploited, to illuminate the locality and improve road infrastructure.
Deputy Mayor Nistor Grozavu specified at the CMC meeting that 17.3 million lei would be allocated for the procurement of wastewater treatment plant with the capacity of 150 m3/day, 12 million lei for the consolidation of the polygon dam and more 10 million lei for the Tintereni commune’s local budget. "We assume responsibility for carrying out works for the rehabilitation of the road infrastructure in locality, public lighting, sanitation and subsequently other works that will be requested by the inhabitants of Tintereni and Geamana villages. These works will be made by increasing the tariff for the waste disposal service," said Grozavu.
As a result of the project approved by the CMC, there will be a meeting of the local authorities of Tintareni commune today, who will further discuss the matter and make a decision regarding the waste disposal from the municipality to the polygone near the village.
The Bubuieci inhabitants blocked in early June the access of "Autosalubritate" trucks to the garbage dump in the locality due to the unpleasant smell caused by the waste disposal. After the negotiations between the representatives of the Government, the Chisinau City Hall and the inhabitants of Bubuieci commune, it was agreed to evacuate domestic waste from the capital to the storage warehouse on Uzinelor Street for 30 days, which expires today.
