Austria donates to Moldova nine special vehicles

Chisinau, 05 July /MOLDPRES/ – Nine special vehicles donated by Austrian authorities will intervene to liquidate risk situations in several districts in Moldova. The cars were offered to Moldavian saviours during a festive event today.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service’s (SPCSE) public relations department, the cars are due to reach to Edinet, Drochia, Dubasari, Straseni, Telenesti, Calarasi, Falesti districts, but also to the Rescue Search Unit № 01 in Chisinau municipality.

The SPCSE is currently developing a cooperation project with volunteer rescuers in Austria. The Moldovan firefighters benefit from technical equipment and intervention equipment, as well as practical training courses.
