Moldovan parliament's standing bureau convenes in meeting

Chisinau, 05 July /MOLDPRES/ – The members of the Permanent Bureau approved the Joint Statement of the Parliaments of Moldova, Georgia and the Supreme Rada of Ukraine, calling on the European Parliament to adopt a resolution before the European Parliament Summit, expressing political support for the opening of the accession perspective of the three associated countries, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
Also, it was approved the agenda for plenary sessions for 06-07 July 2017 today. During this period, the draft on the introduction of meal vouchers, the draft on the appointment as Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice, the Administrative Code, amendments to the Labour Code, the State Budget Execution Report in 2016 will be examined.
The members of the Permanent Bureau decided to conduct parliamentary scrutiny by the Commission on human rights and interethnic relations at the meeting today. Based on the report submitted by the Government within 6 months, the Commission will present information on the Government's implementation of the Parliament's decision to approve the Legislative Declaration on the acceptance of the final report of the International Commission on the Study of the Holocaust, chaired by Elie Wiesel.
