Georgian foreign minister to pay official visit to Chisinau

Chisinau, 06 July /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Darii received the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Moldova Merab Antadze today, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the current stage and the perspectives of bilateral relations between Moldova and Georgia, mentioning the dynamics of the political dialogue and the trade and economic cooperation. They underlined that the session of the Moldovan-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation of April 2017 and the upcoming official visit of the Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze to Chisinau on 10 July 2017 would contribute to enhancing relations between Moldova and Georgia.

Also, the diplomats noted the efficient cooperation within the framework of international organizations, expressing the readiness to continue it in the future.
