Moldova, Georgia mark 25 years from establishment of diplomatic relations

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ – The Moldovan and Georgian Foreign Ministers signed a series of envelopes elaborated by Posta Moldovei, which are dedicated to 25 years of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Georgia, today.
Deputy Prime Minister, Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, mentioned the deepening of the Moldovan-Georgian dialogue and cooperation on all dimensions, but also the strengthening of the inter-human and political contacts.
The head of the Moldovan diplomacy said that several issues related to bilateral cooperation were discussed at the meeting with the Georgian counterpart, as well as on collaboration in several international bodies. He congratulated the Georgian people on the abolition of the visa regime with the EU and reiterated the support of the Chisinau authorities for Georgia.
Georgian Foreign Minister, Mikheil Janelidze, also said he was pleased with the cooperation with the authorities in Chisinau and appreciated the efforts made by Moldova in the Eastern Partnership.
