Moldova, Azerbaijan to strengthen further bilateral collaboration

Chisinau, 11 July /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Lilian Daria held a meeting, 11 July 2017, in Chisinau, with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Mahmud Mammad-Guliev, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
During the meeting, the interlocutors made an exchange of views on the bilateral agenda and appreciated the traditional relations of friendship between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which are promoted including through an open and active cooperation of the foreign ministries of the two states. In this context, the two officials expressed interest in developing political dialogue at various levels in order to strengthen further bilateral cooperation.
They also emphasized the readiness to intensify and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, including the trade and economic ties, the cultural and humanitarian dimensions, underlining the importance of improving and extending the legal framework of bilateral relations.
A special topic was multilateral cooperation, the discussion focusing on priorities of the interaction and the issues that would contribute to the mutually beneficial cooperation within the frameworks of international organizations.
