Mini-bus with Moldovans involved in traffic accident in Ukraine

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has reacted to a traffic accident which occurred in Ukraine, on 13 July, at about 02:40, on at 178th km of the Odessa-Kiev highway, nearby the settlement Nesterivka, Cherkassy region. In accident, a mini-bus VOLKSWAGEN Т-4 with Moldovan citizens strongly crashed into a special vehicle of firemen, the MAEIE information and media communication service has reported.
According to the most recent information received from Ukrainian authorities by the Moldovan Embassy in Ukraine, there were ten passengers, Moldovan citizens, in the mini-bus. In the wake of the accident, the driver of the mini-bus and two passengers, with diverse corporal injuries, which posed no danger for life, were carried to hospitals from Uman and Mankivka, where they were provided all needed medical services.
Moldova’s Embassy in Kiev is in touch with the Ukrainian authorities. The Ministry activated the crisis cell, the goal of which is to coordinate all actions as for providing assistance to the Moldovan citizens.
