Moldova to receive 1.7 million dollars to modernize governmental services.

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will receive an advance of more than 1.7 million dollars for preparing a project titled, Modernization of Governmental Services, under an agreement between Moldova and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, ratified by the parliament today.
The draft is to be worked out and implemented by the State Chancellery and the Electronic Governance Centre.
According to the document, the government plans the carrying out of an exercise of qualitative and quantitative transformation of the administrative public services in charge of the providing of which there are the central public administration authorities, through: removal of obsolete services or the merger of more services into one service, enhancing access to public services locally by digital channels, reducing the number of documents needed to provide public services, as well as the duration of their provision, levying transparent and fair tariffs for the services provided against payment, ensuring a high level of quality of the delivery of governmental services.
The period of implementation of the agreement is 12 months from the date of its entrance into force.
