Moldovan deputy foreign minister attends international conference in Georgia

Chisinau, 14 July /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Daniela Morari attended the 14th annual international conference, Georgia’s European Way – Ensuring Regional Stability, held in Batumi, Georgia, on 13-14 July, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
In her speech, given at a session titled, Eastern Partnership – What’s Next for European Union’s Associated Partners?, Daniela Morari referred to the main results of the ninth meeting of the European Partnership’s Informal Ministerial Dialogue, hosted by Chisinau earlier this week, as well as to Moldova’s priorities for the Eastern Partnership’s Summit, due in next November. In this context, Deputy Minister Morari evoked the importance of strengthening the Partnership as a platform of interaction of the partner-states, to establish a common future vision, as well as the need to promote an approach oriented towards results within the Eastern Partnership. Also, the deputy minister reiterated that Moldova remained firmly committed in its European integration and made every effort to turn to good account the opportunities offered by the European Union, including on the dimension of the multilateral cooperation.
The discussions were focused on the last progress made, as well as on challenges faced in the implementation of the provisions of the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, established by EU.
On the sidelines of the conference, Deputy Minister Daniela Morari had meetings with Georgia’s State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Victor Dolidze and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Georgia Vakhtang Makharoblishvili.
