Moldovan commission for awarding national prize holds first meeting

Chisinau, 17 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Commission for Awarding the National Prize today held its first meeting at the government, chaired by the deputy head of the commission, Culture Minister Monica Babuc, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The main subjects on the agenda of the discussions were focused in the approval of the schedule of actions on holding the contest in 2017. Thus, on the next period, to assess the materials submitted to the contest, depending on the subjects and number of the participants, the Commission members will approve the composition of the experts’ groups who examine the files according to the expertise forms.
At the same time, the participants in the meeting discussed actions needed to be carried out to optimize the procedure of submitting and assessing the files, proceeding from the experience of the previous years. In this respect, the participants in the event reiterated the importance to strictly observe the requirements of the Regulation on the National Prize in all the period of holding the contest.
It is worth mentioning that the files of the candidates for the contest on the National Prize, by indicating the sector of awarding the Prize (science, technologies, culture and art, sport) are to be submitted till 29 July 2017, at 17:00, to the address: Government building, Great National Assembly Square, No.1, office 637.
