Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ – The health reform will be subject to public debate until a clear concept, supported by the parliamentary majority, is defined. The announcement was made by the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) spokesman Vitalie Gamurari, following the weekly working meeting of the party, today.
At a press briefing, Vitalie Gamurari said that a hearing was requested by the Health Ministry on health care reform, including the closure of some hospitals. "More previous health reforms were hasty, so we want the changes to be made to the citizens’ benefit. As such, it is concluded that there is currently no express document of the reform that is why the informative note on this project was requested. Similarly, it was decided that the reform would be subject to public debates, where the key moments of the document to be presented, and only later on from the majority coalition to get political support," said Gamurari.
Also, the PDM spokesman specified that, in cooperation with the authorities in Romania and Ukraine, there would be taken measures to streamline the border summer traffic.
At the same time, Vitalie Gamurari announced the presentation of the results of a poll conducted at the PDM’s request, on 22 June – 09 July.
