Prices for 380 medicines cut by over ten per cent in Moldova

Chisinau, 19 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices today informed that, in last June, it had recorded producer prices for 380 medicines, by 20 products more against the same period of 2016. The prices for these medicines were cut by an average of 10.25 per cent.

The immune-stimulating, antibacterial, anti-ulcer, mucolytic, anti-depressive, immune-suppressant, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic, analgesic medicines have been cheapened, reads a communiqué by the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices (AMDM).          

In last June, 116 products underwent the procedure of authorization and re-authorization in Moldova. Almost 69 per cent of the preparations are made in European Union countries. At the same time, AMDM issued authorizations of import for 340 medicines.
