Moldovan PM says nobody from calamities-hit people to be left without assistance

Chisinau, 20 July /MOLDPRES/ - A meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations, chaired by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, was held at the government today. The participants in the event considered more aspects on the allocation of financial means and providing material goods from the state material reserves to remove the consequences of the natural calamities which took place on the period of April-June, 2017, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
In the context, the PM repeatedly expressed appreciation to the specialized services for mobilization and the work carried out to remove the consequences of the natural disasters.
“We proved to everybody that, in difficult situations, we represent a force together and we can cope with any danger or difficulty. Nobody of those who suffered will be left without assistance,” Prime Minister Pavel Filip said.
Thus, the participants in the meeting ruled to earmark financial means worth 7.199 million lei for the southern Cimislia district, 1,299 million lei for the northern Drochia district, 1.5 million lei for the western Ungheni district, 2.698 million lei for the Interior Ministry and 1.862 million lei to the Defence Ministry. Also, the government instructed to release material goods from the state’s material reserves to liquidate the consequences of the natural calamities from April, May and June 2017.
