Moldovan foreign ministry condemns proclamation by Donetsk separatists of so-called state entity in eastern Ukraine

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry has firmly condemned the recent proclamation, in Donetsk, according to well-known scenarios, of the so-called Malorossia, which claims to be a pseudo-state formation ‘’successor’’ of Ukraine, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The ministry considers this act as a downright defiance of the generally recognized principles of international law, as well as a new threat to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and regional security.

Given this, the ministry reiterates Moldova’s position of principle on respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in its borders recognized internationally.
