Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - The prime minister, in the beginning of a today’s cabinet meeting, demanded presentation of conclusions of a special commission, set up upon his request, to re-evaluate the tests of the school-leaving examination in physics, the 2017 session. Pavel Filip reiterated the importance that the concerned problem is investigated and settled in favour of pupils, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

In the context, Education, Culture and Research Minister Monica Babuc reported on the results of the work of the commission on re-evaluation of 187 tests in the exam in physics, in line with the corrected norm. Thus, the commission members proposed that the marks be increased by one point to 50 candidates of the exact sciences sector and four candidates of the humanities one.

The marks will be changed based on an order issued by the Education, Culture and Research Ministry; subsequently, the authors of the works will be identified, in order to issue new graduation diplomas, with the introduction of the concerned corrections.

The prime minister demanded speeding up the issuance of the order on increasing the marks and calling to account the persons guilty of the wrong elaboration of tests in physics. “It is quite easy for one to be negligent and it is very difficult for one who studied 12 years to suffer because of these mistakes. I will be categorical on this subject – the guilty persons should be called to account and know the responsibility they bear,” the PM added.
