Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ – The Governmental Committee for European Integration (CGIE) held a meeting, chaired by Premier Pavel Filip, to analyse the results of the National Action Plan (PNA) for implementation of the Moldova-European Union Association Agreement (PNAA) in the first semester of 2017, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The Prime Minister asked the Executive’s members to remain focused on implementation of the commitments undertaken by Moldova before the EU and observe the established terms of the actions. "The Government reform should not affect the implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agenda. On the contrary, we need to be more organized and achieve better results," said Pavel Filip.
The PNA’s implementation results in 2017 will be reflected in the next week report which is to be published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE).
Also, at the meeting, it was discussed the export quotas capitalization of Moldovan products on the EU market. According to the Economics and Infrastructure Minister, Octavian Calmic, during the first five months of 2017, Moldova’s exports to the European market accounted around 63 per cent of the total volume. For some categories of products, the export quotas offered to Moldova were already recovered and it was requested their increase.
