Central public administration reform discussed with managers of subdivisions within ministries of Moldova

Chisinau, 28 July /MOLDPRES/ – The State Chancellery, together with the Centre for Implementation of Reforms, organized a working meeting with the managers of the human resources subdivisions within the ministries, today, in the context of the central public administration reform, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
At the meeting, the reporters of the two organizing institutions reiterated their willingness to offer all the necessary methodological assistance for the proper conduct of the restructuring process of the public authorities.
The discussions focused on the stages related to the reorganization of ministries. In particular, the managers of the human resources subdivisions defined certain aspects of the procedure for drafting and approving the Regulations, the structure and the staffing of the ministries. At the meeting, the participants also referred to the organization of the competition procedure for the employment of the State Secretaries-General and State Secretaries of Ministries.
Also, considering that Moldova was included in the Global Study on the intrinsic motivation of civil servants in developing countries, carried out by the UNDP’s support, the participants were familiar with the stages of the questionnaire to be carried out in September – October 2017. The results of the study will allow for the development of the most effective reforming tools as to enhance the motivation and performance of civil servants.
