Foreign affairs ministry says no Moldovans among victims of train crash in Barcelona

Chisinau, 28 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), as well as Moldova’s Embassy in Madrid took note on a train crash which took place in the Barcelona city, Spain, today morning.

According to information provided by the Moldovan diplomatic mission and the honorary consul of Moldova in Spain, there are no Moldovan citizens among the accident’s victims at present.

The Ministry and the Embassy of Moldova in Madrid will further monitor the situation dealing with the concerned accident.

The Moldovan citizens who need assistance or the persons who suppose that they would have had relatives, friends or acquaintances, who would have been in the zone and might be among the victims may appeal to the Moldovan Embassy in Madrid, by calling the emergency number +34664598545 the MAEIE Call Centre at +37322788722.
