Moldovan deputy premier meets Georgian deputy foreign affairs minister

Chisinau, 1 August /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Gheorghe Balan, during a working visit to Tbilisi, has met Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Georgia David Dondua, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The discussions were focused on a wide range of subjects on the Moldovan-Georgian bilateral relations, present situation within the processes of talks on the settlement of conflicts from Moldova and Georgia, aspects of regional security, as well as other issues of common interest.
The officials reaffirmed the firm positions of the national authorities, which mutually support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Moldova and Georgia in their internationally recognized borders, speak out for the peaceful, sustainable and definitive settlement of the territorial disputes, which is to lead to the setting up of territorially reintegrated, functional, independent states, and where the observance of the fundamental human rights and freedoms is to be guaranteed.
