Moldovan foreign minister receives head of Council of Europe's Office in Chisinau

Chisinau, 02 August /MOLDPRES/ – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Andrei Galbur, received the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau, José-Luis Herrero, today, on the occasion of concluding his mission in the Republic of Moldova, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

Minister Galbur expressed his appreciation to J. Herrero for his direct contribution to the deepening of cooperation relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Council of Europe, noting the organization's role in implementing confidence building measures between both banks of the Dniester. He also welcomed the expertise provided by the Council of Europe in various fields as a very useful and indispensable tool in supporting the ongoing efforts to advance with internal reforms.

The Head of the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau thanked the Moldovan authorities for their support in fulfilling his mandate, expressing hope that the political dialogue with the Council of Europe will continue at the same level of cooperation.
