Moldovan state to earmark over two million lei for construction or repair of dwellings

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved a draft decision, according to which 43 persons from 15 districts, who benefited from preferential loans from financial institutions and were not provided with dwellings according to the situation from 22 October 2004, will receive one-off allowances for the construction of a private house or of a cooperative dwelling. Also, these persons can purchase dwellings with the money provided by the state or restore old houses.    

The state will allocate over 2.1 million lei for the repair of dwellings. The state budget law for 2017 sees providing one-off allowances worth 7.8 million lei on these purposes.   

In early last February, the government approved a decision,. According to which the participants in the combat actions and the Chernobyl accident relief works will be given 1.4 million lei for the construction of purchasing of dwellings or restoring old houses. Thirty three persons from 11 districts benefited from the state’s support in all.
