First class tickets for Chisinau-Bucharest train cheapened

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/ - The state enterprise Railway of Moldova (CFM) today informed that the price of the first class tickets for the Chisinau-Bucharest train had been cut by about 30 per cent.
According to a press release by CFM, the price reduction was made as a result of an agreement signed between the railway administrations from Moldova and Romania.
Thus, passengers opting for enhanced comfort conditions in first-class carriages will benefit from travel tickets to Romania’s capital at a price of 720 lei.
The tickets of the same class for children aged between 4 and 12 years will cost 412 lei. Children younger than four years of age will travel free of charge.
The Chisinau-Bucharest train goes to Romania’s capital from the Chisinau railway station daily at 16:45. For the second class, the tickets cost 623.05 lei for adults and 377.28 lei for children.
