Moldovan deputy foreign affairs minister meets Japanese ambassador

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Lilian Darii today received Ambassador of Japan to Moldova Masanobu Yoshii, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The two officials tackled aspects on the bilateral relations, reiterating common interest in deepening the ties in diverse sectors, both the bilateral and multilateral ones.
Deputy Minister Darii said that Japan was one of the important partners of Moldova and appreciated the assistance provided by the Japanese authorities in carrying out the reforms and developing important fields for Moldova’s economy. Also, the Moldovan official stressed that a major priority is to attract Japanese investments in diverse sectors of the national economy.
